I am excited to start 2021 with the launch of my blog, Transformative Pursuit! 2020 was a unique year that presented many challenges to people across the globe. One of my goals for 2021 is to spend more time in God’s word. This is a goal that most christians make every year, including me. 2020 revealed to me, and many others, that no day or year is guaranteed. The idea of this blog has been in my head for several years, but I am finally making it a reality. I believe there is no better time than now and I simply can not put this calling off any longer. To begin my goal of bringing this blog to life I plan to share a new post each Monday. Occasionally, I may make additional posts throughout the week but will start off posting on a weekly basis.
I do not hold a degree in theology and I will not claim to know it all by any means. I am an every day believer of Christ who has a passion for writing, and particularly writing as God speaks to me. My goal is to show that God speaks to all who will listen. He doesn’t just speak to pastors, missionaries, prophets, and those who have degrees in theology, He speaks to all believers. My intention is not for these posts to come across as me lecturing or “preaching” at you. Instead, my hope is that these posts resemble a casual conversation among friends as I share what God has shown or taught me.
I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me on this journey and hope you enjoy reading my posts. My prayer is that there are more of God’s words than mine.
